Not Understanding T4A, Box 105; T2202A; and other items
My daughter, a US citizen, is a graduate student at a Canadian university. I'm trying to understand the amounts on various forms in order to help complete her US tax return for 2013.

As a graduate student and teaching assistant, she has received the following:
1). Form T4 showing "remuneration"
2). Form T4A showing "other income (Box 105)"
3). Form T2202A showing "eligible tuition"

I understand Form T4. It seems to show remuneration for summer work she did at the university. For US taxes, I know how to handle the T4 remuneration.

I do not understand Form T4A, or the meaning of "Box 105". However, given the dollar amount, I suspect this was my daughter's pay for work as a teaching assistant, from which her tuition (the amount on the Form T2202A) was then subtracted.

How do I deal with the T4A Box 105 amount for tax purposes? Is it ALL considered "remuneration" for her work as a teaching assistant, even if her tuition payments were subsequently subtracted from it?

If anyone has advice, please let me know. Thank you.

(PS: I'm hoping that all of the above-mentioned remuneration can be excluded from US taxation on a US Form 2555.)
